The 2012 Care for Cats national events will be held across Canada by various communities. Check with your local shelter, veterinary clinic or pet store to find out more about your community involvement. Below are some of the national activities.
- September 23 – October 2 - National ID Week
- September 30 to October 6 - Animal Health Week
- May 2012 "May is the PUUURRRRFECT Month" for Cat Awareness. Various adopt a thons and education programs across Canada.
- July 11-14 2012 CVMA Convention
- 22-30 September 2012 National ID week – ID clinics focusing on permanent identification, licensing and registration
- Animal Health Week
- December 2012 – "Hoping for a FURever Home" Adopt a thon across Canada
